Officers were called around 8:30 p.m. and found Perrin with multiple gunshot wounds; CPR was started on the scene and he was rushed to Nebraska Medicine, where he was pronounced dead ¹. Friends and family remember Joshua as a loyal, kind‑hearted man who loved his community and spent his free time with loved ones. Social‑media tributes highlight his big laugh, his willingness to give “the shirt off his back,” and the deep void his loss has left ¹.
